  Sunny Rose Healey  CAP, AHP is a NAMA certified Ayurvedic practitioner, and has been on faculty at the Ayurvedic Institute since 2009, where she received her foundation in Ayurvedic Medicine. During her first pregnancy, Sunny searched for a guide based on Ayurvedic principles to help navigate pregnancy and postpartum. Finding very little, she founded Mama Ayurveda to fill this gap. Mama Ayurveda offers Ayurveda for Women, a course for women's health highlighting the childbearing year. The Bija Fertility Program, Ayurveda for Women's Health, Ayurveda for Pregnancy &amp; Ayurveda for Postpartum, 40 Days for 40 Years: A Guide and Cookbook based on the Timeless Wisdom of Ayurveda are other offerings. Sunny is an Apprentice Midwife and runs an Ayurvedic practice in Santa Fe where she lives with her husband and 2 young children.
